2035. lunacy
8 states are planning to BAN the sale of gas-powered cars entirely - after Biden unveiled ambitious plans to phase them out by 2032
California was the first state to adopt the plan to ban sales of gas cars by 2035
Electric vehicles made up 7.6 percent of new car sales in the US last year
At least eight states are planning to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars in the next decade - and others are considering joining them.
Only zero-emission vehicles can be sold in participating states beginning from the 2035 model year, according to the Advanced Clean Cars II legislation.
The rule, which was first adopted by California, means that automakers and dealerships would be banned from selling new gas cars in these states from that point onwards.
Americans will not be forced to take their gas-powered cars off the road, however, and will still be able to buy used and secondhand gas vehicles.

Electric vehicles are not really electric. They are almost entirely powered by natural gas power plants. Coupled with batteries and production, they emit more emissions over 100,000 miles than a gas powered Honda Accord. Of course the batteries don’t last 100k so they are much dirtier than that. Nasty nasty things

Car dealerships are likely buying up all the property along the NV and AZ state lines. It's going to be like opening a liquor store just across the line from a dry county/parish.

…..And look what States they are !!

Uh, EV's are not "zero emission vehicles." Why does this lie keep getting repeated?
This won't end well.

I'll put down money that my 2003 Lexus LX470 could outlive me.

Wonder how long it’s gonna take for people to realize, it’s really not about the environment. It’s about politicians lining their pockets , their donors pockets , and special interest pockets. And they do it all under the illusion of, “we saving the environment because we care about you, and your children’s future”. The media covers for them .

Dumbasses.
And are they going to compensate the dealers they'll be putting out of business?

Watch what happens when California has another major earthquake and there’s no power and no generators.

Current emission standards are why we have so many turbo engines now, keep your old cars maintained.

They have no intention of banning gas cars. They are planning on the ridiculous plan failing spectacularly and then blaming republicans for it. This is their MO.
