3 dogs

Yellow Lab - too old now but did hunt ducks and dove

Labradoodle -wife’s dog not a hunting dog

Small mutt (we think schnauzer and mini yorkie). He terrorizes the cats. He’s a good boy.
ETA: he will absolutely ruin a rat’s day. He found some at the farm once. Carnage ensued.

Golden retriever. He doesn’t have the drive to hunt. Is just your goofy perfect house dog (minus the shedding).

Redbone Coonhound-blood trailing deer.First 2 were fake in that I drug the deer around behind my golcart, she was 8 months old.Next 3 had blood trail. The last one was the hardest,I shot a little high and had no blood and ran couple hundred yards, she did a good job finding it.
She has made a very good house dog, never chewed up anything she wasn’t supposed to,was easy to housebreak and is watchdog extraordinaire. She goes nuts barking at anyone coming down our driveway, her bark will wake the dead.
She is spoiled as hell, she gets a treat at 8 pm and she never lets me forget it.

I have 2 dogs
1. Boykin Spaniel I have him trained to duck hunt this will be his first season he’s only 1&1/2. I’m excited about getting out there with him.
2. A Cockapoo he’s very smart almost too smart. He doesn’t hunt anything but he knows multiple tricks and I can pretty much teach him anything he’s 5 years old and my best bud.

1 year old sheltie that’s willing to hunt if I’d bring her but she’d alert the entire world that we have arrived and are here to kill.

We’re really going to need to witness a field trial before we can upvote this statement.

3 Lacy's, one of which is only 12 weeks old. I track deer for the hunting public and work cattle with them. I've also taken them to bay pen competitions a few times.

Lab

She does ok on squirrels when she's focused. She's decent at finding deer but I've never had the chance to put her on a challenging track so I don't know how good she might be. She's a great house dog, though.

10 beagles. 8 to hunt deer and 2 lay around on the couch. The hunting dogs are “club” dogs and live in pens at our place in N. La.

1 of the house dogs is a pretty good blood trailer but I usually leave her at home on the weekends. The other one will chew on deer legs when I bring them home, but has no interest in trailing one.
