I wouldn’t say he even shot it in their general direction at all. He shot straight down. If he shot at the blind, then sure it’s self defense all day.
Hunters definitely had the advantage if he did shoot towards them though. Gotta be pretty hard to hit someone with a pistol, from a moving boat, at like 25yds, with a one handed shot.

They have also experimented with noise ordinance on parish land to ease up the airboats and surface drives in the marsh at night.
I’ll say that in all the years I’ve hunted down there, I don’t think I’ve ever seen any really dumb stuff around the refuge, but it has always been regulated. I lost the desire to hunt baptiste a long time ago.

Brendan's FB?
No different than the a-hole crawfishermen that think they can skip the 25 boats waiting to launch. All these cocksuckers will get theirs one way or another. Looks like the law is handing Brendan (lol) his arse.

The refuge's rules by default keep the fools out.
• Air-thrust boats, aircraft, mud boats, and air-cooled propulsion engines.
• Acting as a hunting or fishing guide or outfitter on the Refuge and receiving any form of compensation for a guiding activity - including guiding, outfitting, lodging fees, or club membership.
• Use or possession of alcohol while hunting.

Agreed. That was what I was getting at. Wouldn’t hate it if more public areas took up similar regulations.

Why are you trying to downplay his actions? Whether he points the gun at them or round ricochets, he’s putting people in harms way. Dude should lose his LA privileges for life. USCG needs to bring piss wagon to marinas and start drug testing all those captains. That’ll clear out a lot of the trash.

You’re missing the point. This cocksucker that’s not even from Louisiana thought firing his pistol on public land in an attempt to scare them out of a blind he wanted to use because he feels entitled to the land was an appropriate action. He’s a danger to society and they should deport his yankee arse.

I’m not missing any point lol. Throw the book at him, I agree with that. But you people wanting to kill the dude are no better than he is lol. It’s kind of weird how some people just want to murder someone and have a legal reason to do it.

Care to elaborate?
Aren't permanent blinds illegal on WMAs? Was this on Pass-A-Loutre?

I don’t want to kill him, but I would be ok with a good arse beating followed by tossing his arse out of the state permanently

And I am becoming one of them. Four pages and not one individual will post a link to the video other than on fakebook and I will not join that shitpen to watch it. Isn't there someplace on the web where it can be seen without logging in to some select site? C'mon guys, you can do better!

I saw the video on La duck Facebook or one of those Facebook pages you guys mentioned.
The guy is lucky someone didn’t take what he did as an attack on their lives and kill him fearing for their lives.
He should be stripped of his hunting and fishing privileges in Louisiana for at least a year.

I 1000% expect new rules go into effect with hunting parish land down here from now on. What those rules will be I’m not sure but Jerry (the sheriff) is getting an earful about that cocksucker who pulled that shite on those kids in that blind. Everyone down here has had enough of these out of town cocksuckers that run these guide services that think they own every inch of the marsh. And it ain’t just the Nolan baw who’s pulled shite like this the cocksuckers at limitless waterfowl pulled a similar stunt on some kids last year with a chainsaw... None of these pos would’ve pulled a stunt like this on a grown arse man.
I've enjoyed the discourse here but the OP should get "TD post of the year" or something for this rant. Comes out burning hot, drops a bunch of "cocksuckers", and it takes until the top of page 2 for the rest of us to figure out wtf he's even talking about.

frick that, he should get a felony for his reckless discharge of a firearm and lose all his guns for 10 years or whatever the Louisiana law is for it.
