They didn't worry too much about that popsicle stuff in Mississippi public schools. But I'm proud to say I made it all the way thru the 3rd grade before I turned 16.

Great looking gun. Held one for the first time a few weeks ago and loved the feel. Will be my next handgun purchase. Congrats.

just joined the VP9 club today
went with the 10 round SK, something a bit easier to CC, keep in the car and something my wife can shoot as well.
Will probably end up getting the full size later this year to keep near the bed.

Congrats baw. Love that pinky grip... Would have to have one myself if I went with the smaller VP9. One of the only reasons I went with the VP9 over the G19 is the longer grip. I hear they came out with the G19x which is the glock 17 grip and 19 slide. I may look into that for my next purchase.

Damn, dude. Your baw transformation is almost complete.

The VP9 SK is a solid gun and in no way a bad choice for concealing. But there's nothing about the SK that makes it considerably more shootable than the full sized VP9. As an example, my fiancee owns a full sized VP9 and it's a favorite among new shooters in my CC classes.
That being said, I'm sure the SK is still a gun that new shooters can handle, but not by any substantial margin when compared to the full sized version.

I picked up a G19X a few weeks ago. I'm a glockaholic so I get pretty much everything they put out but the 19X is really a nice gun. The full size 17 grip really helps it's shootability and the DLC coated internals help give it the best out of the box trigger ever on a Glock. I'm one of the few people that prefers a 17 over a 19.

Have you ever tried one of the ghost disconnects?

The best $13.00 you can spend on a glock.

Can we talk holsters for the VP9. I would like an OWB holster for now that I can throw in the console as well.
I want to be comfortable with it around the camp. I am partial to leather items but am open to just about anything

I tried them in the past, like maybe 10 yrs ago or so. I've been using the OEM minus connector almost exclusively.
