re: Truck bed covers
I have a retrax pro mx and it has been great for two years. Just wish I would have sprung the extra couple hundred for the electric one. It’s black and it’s hot enough to burn you just opening it during the summer. It also uses the motor to lock it vs the handle lock on the manual model. Has kept everything 95% dry.

re: Truck bed covers
I have a backflip mx4 and have been disappointed. It leaks in a couple of spots in the front and back of the bed, nothing terrible, but not bone dry. One of the attachments for the rod to stand the cover up broke, and two of the stick-on pads for when you fold up the cover came off. Not what I'd expect for almost 1k and 2 years old.

That said, in theory I love the functionality of the roll/fold up. I'd never have a truck without something like it.

re: Truck bed covers
So, loved the Retrax powertrax, but cost and canister space steered me to the Bakflip MX4...mostly good reviews for it, with some unhappy, like the post above. It supposed to be here Thursday. After I have it a few months, I will report back! Thanks for all the suggestions/reviews.

With the revolver and the little baby bed you have no room left for real hauling. If you just use for a few chairs for travel ball you good/ I have backflip G2 for 5 years all good

I have the Tyger tri fold as well. Have had it for 8 months. Zero water gets in and it looks brand new. For 220 bucks that’s hard to beat.

You can't go wrong with the Bakflip VPs.

re: Truck bed covers
I have a retrax pro mx and it has been great for two years. Keeps everything mostly dry, hard rain will get some water around the edges. Sunny day, it gets really hot to unlock and pull or push. I knew the roll up canister took up bed room, but for large stuff I just hook up my utility trailer for that anyway. I'd recommend for sure. I love being able to lock my stuff up and go inside a store or restaurant and not worrying about it.

re: Truck bed covers
I needed something that I could put some weight on so I went with the Diamondback on my Tacoma.

Only issue I'm having is getting my dometic fridge and slider to fit underneath the center support. Fits fine with out the slider but the fridge move around if there isn't a bunch of stuff in the bed to hold it in place.

I have had a undercover flip on my 2011 Silverado since right after I bought it brand new. 8 years old and still going strong.

re: Truck bed covers
on the rollup BAK revolvers will it stop and secure partially open like the backflip, or is it all the way shut or all the way open?

and that may not matter, I've never had either, but I'm in the market and just trying to look at all options and make my best choice
