Thanks for the info, I didn't try what was in the video...but it didn't work.
I saw sea pickle and whodat514 used to make map cards, y'all still do that?
I have a boat I'm trying to sell with an HDS Gen3 that has the LA-1 map pack. It came with the boat when I bought, has always worked. I bought a boat with an HDS gen2, and I'd like to keep the map card with the new boat on the HDS gen2. Problem is, the gen 2 doesn't seem to automatically sync up with the map on the card. It detects that there are files on the card, but it seems like they aren't the right format. The lowrance/standard mapping sites make it look like this card should work for both gens. Has anybody had experience with this before?
It was a material issue in an elbow--much larger amounts of residual elements than what would be allowed by newer ASTM specs, but I believe those REs were not prohibited to the same extent in the original material spec. There's an initial CSB report explaining it.

Truck farm tavern down the road in St. Rose is surprisingly good. We usually get 4-5 apps and have always enjoyed it.

Many nuclear power plant reactor protection control systems are on these same kind of floppy disks. It's a monumental task to change to modern technology because of concerns with both cyber security and ensuring reliability of a new system.

I have a backflip mx4 and have been disappointed. It leaks in a couple of spots in the front and back of the bed, nothing terrible, but not bone dry. One of the attachments for the rod to stand the cover up broke, and two of the stick-on pads for when you fold up the cover came off. Not what I'd expect for almost 1k and 2 years old.

That said, in theory I love the functionality of the roll/fold up. I'd never have a truck without something like it.

I have a 08 verado and have replaced a steering cylinder (had to buy the whole thing for a blown seal), power steering pump (not a normal hydarulic steering system), and cracked tilt cylinder in the past year. The tilt cylinder is what it is although pretty strange, but the steering system is stupid. It's more shite that can break and those replacements cost almost 2x what a whole new sea star system would have cost.
Also draining a little LU to see if it's milky or if the plug has metal on it.

I didn't get stuff really checked out as pillage suggested and got burned on a boat I just bought.
Plenty of regularly used motors go to 3000 hours if maintained well. Key word is regularly used. If theres a 10yr old boat with 50 hours, that's a situation to be wary of

I have some del star group 27s from there and they are on year 4-5. Would buy again for sure.
Now that you say this, I remember him having a bunch of mistakes on his written exams too.

Maybe it's just because we are hunting different areas this year, but I've seen far fewer than the past few years. Same with cans.
It's likely the lower seals. You can do the repair at home, get the new seals from gator tail. Depending on how bad the intrusion was, you also may need to replace the lower bearing which isn't hard either.

I've never seen a crew boat on plane in the jump. I don't think it's posted no wake zone, and small boats usually stay on plane

More baws in surface drives than teal in venice
Just to add to the list...had something similar and it was a bad coil.
Agree with this. I will say my experience is they usually last 3 years or so (saltwater use, stored outside under cover) and the contact gets crapped up and doesn't work.
Bayou fiberglass around Pearl River makes some good ones that are stackable. They are pretty big, two men + some gear is doable with little risk of tipping.
