re: Looking for a drill/driver combo. Recs? - Mark Makers
I'm sure this will draw some downvotes since they aren't red or yellow but I decided to go all in with Kobalt's new 24v brushless tools over a year ago and have been extremely happy with them so far. They don't see everyday use but frequent use. I have the drill, impact driver, sawzall, jigsaw, mul...

re: Anyone ever installed a chain link fence? - Mark Makers
Chain link fence is easy. I was surprised how easy it went up after doing it for the first time. Get all your posts set and top rail in. We would attach the chain link to one corner post, and then a tension tool like this to the other end. https://www.homedepot.com/p/allFENZ-36-in-Galvanized-Stee...

Getting Cell Signal and Wifi To Detached Shop - Mark Makers
I just built a shop behind my house and I noticed when I am inside with all the doors closed, I get zero cell service or Wifi. The shop is about 70' from the house, and 100' from my wireless router. I have a Google Nest wifi system with one router and one point in the house. Do you think by just ad...

Ward Davis - Black Cats & Crows - New Record Releases Tomorrow - Mark Makers
If you are into the "Outlaw Country" thing (I like to call it real country music myself)...Ward Davis has become one of my favorite singer/songwriters and hasn't put out a full record in a long time. He's extremely talented, plays the guitar and the piano, and is a great storyteller. I'm pumped for ...

re: Buy guns online, not locally - Mark Makers
Better prices, selection, no sales tax, only an FFL fee that should be less than $25. There is no advantage to buying a new gun locally. Suggested : Grab-a gun, KYGunco, Bud'sgunshop,
What a random as hell thread to start...

Paging Fruit Tree Experts - Planting In Area Prone To Flooding?? - Mark Makers
I'm interested in planting some fruit trees, however my property does go underwater on average probably once per year. When the water does come up, it usually doesn't stay up more than a day. At most, its only a couple feet of water. The ground can stay fairly saturated for weeks at a time as wel...
