Wanting something I can grill and smoke on. I’ve always just used charcoal. Not wanting to spend $1,000 if I can. Whatcha got?

Costco has them for 799. Best easy bake oven style smoker out there IMO.

PK Grill, all aluminum will last forever. Only shortcomings, original capsule is a bit small and the cart is too short. They have some newer models that address these issues.

Recteq Bullseye is pretty nice. Great grill, decent smoker.

looks like it's on sale now. I bought mine in 2020 and it still looks/works like new.

Pitboss. Love mine and doesn’t break the bank.

Ugly drum smoker. I built one a few weeks ago and only regret was that I didn’t do it sooner. Can fill with fuel, walk off for 4 hours and it’ll chug along at 225 with no adjustments. Can be built for less than <$100. Just make sure to try and find an unlined barrel, liner removal is pita.

Are you looking to smoke large quantities? If not, the 22" Weber Kettle will do it all. It's only drawback is it's capacity. A large brisket is going to be a tight fit. A single large pork butt is no problem.

Fairly inexpensive, and best of both worlds: Old Country Pecos and a Weber Kettle.

Pitboss! Easy and convenient. If you learn how to keep it clean, even better
Don't forget to spray oil on the lid as well whenever you grease her down

+1
Love mine. Takes standard charcoal and you can throw wood chunks in if you want. Also goes from 200-700 degrees

I would go with a pellet grill. Pit Boss is probably the best value.

I love mine. Rock steady at any ambient temp.
Longest cook on mine was about 9 hours with fuel left.

I can only get about 4 hours out of mine but I’m using an old 12” grill as a firebox.
