Case law on valuation of animals from 5-7 years ago says they are not worth what you say you have in them. Very possible the owner over paid and has no clue what the actual value of his deceased dog I worth legally. Have trained plenty that the owner was upside down on and sold personal dogs I was upside down on. Ain’t no money selling finished dogs, only time.

Yeah I always laugh when I hear someone claim that they have some high dollar dog that is worth X amount of inflated dollars. They then go on and say how much money they have spent on training and yadayada. Just because you spent that money doesn’t equate to value. Seems like every joe blow with a lab that spends 1-2k on training now has a lab that everyone is offering him 10k for now.

The dogs I've seen go for the most or have the most offered were the super hot derby dogs.

Your only reading the article from one side that a newspaper boy wrote. The dog owner is about as shady as the guy you let it die. Both were arrested on different charges. Dog was a damn biscuit hound and probably not worth $500 truth be known. Guarantee it'll all be dropped and both will go on their way.

I'd pay $25,000 for a dog that could make biscuits.

Except now when people Google ol baw this article pops up so I would think it damaged his business. If the other dude was being shady that started this I wonder if he could seek damages from lost reputation?

How you going to throw a turd like this on the dinner table and then go on your merry way of eating your fried okra like nothing was ever said?

If you have the details, this is the best place to share them.

Fellow was keeping a friend’s horse in his pasture when he said, “Bad news. Your horse got hit by lightning and killed.”

But later, friend was talking to the fellow’s kid, and the kid says, “I think your old horse is going to be real happy with that lady daddy sold him to.”

The law got involved after that. Horse was alive and well, eventually returned to rightful owner.
