My feet sweat a lot durning the winter and I’m looking for a decent pair of socks to hunt with.

I wear regular non-insulated LaCrosse boots and do a lot of walking on public land.

What you fellas are wearing for socks to combat sweaty feet?

Farm to Feet socks are expensive, but they're great. I won't buy anything else to wear with boots.

Defeet. Woolly bully if I’m just sitting like duck hunting. One of the mid or lightweight wools if I’m walking. Unfortunately they quit making my favorite mid weight model.

Wool hiking socks.

Do you need the rubber boots? Some good hiking shoes would probably do wonders too.

Hollow socks. Alpaca wool is all the rage now according to the outdoor channel.

It's hard to beat Darn Tough. If you're in rubber boots your feet are going to sweat on the walk with any sock that'll keep you warm when sitting. I usually bring a second pair and change into them before climbing if my feet get sweaty.

+1 on alpaca. Worn merino wool as a matter of course. Tried alpaca last year and sticking with them.

Also +1 on the Defeet merino Wolly Boolly socks. High quality and last a long time.

Wool is the answer.

Alpaca wool is the best answer.

Darn Tough wool socks. Expensive but worth it and you can wear them all year. Wool is naturally anti microbial and moisture wicking.

Darn Tough or Smartwool. Both are expensive, but Made in USA and reputable customer service departments

I was a long time skeptic due to the price, but now those 2 brands are the only socks I own.

Darn Tough comes with a lifetime warranty that they will honor. Get different thicknesses for different seasons but this is the only sock to buy: dress, athletic/sports, hiking, casual, etc.

I bought 2 pairs of Roger’s merino wool socks and I’ve enjoyed them. I think it’s $9 for two pair. Wore them all weekend airing out at night over various temps (both hot ~72ish to cold 30s) with no issue.
