i wouldn't suggest it. you will pass the Den lounge... although it looks like a nice little watering hole, might not be your best option. although we've been there more than once, its best to maybe steer clear.
Quit trying to keep all the women to yourself.

i have been there myself, however, i guys that were there last time stuff went down. one guy lost an eye. one was in ICU for 3-4 days.
Bottom line is that the Den is not worth the risk. Plenty of beer in Venice.

We always make the 10 minute trip to Joshuas in Buras. Nice relaxing bar with no trouble.

Good lord. what is the back story here? Hard to imagine that happening over something trivial.

Good luck.

The backstory is that the person who was punching people is a beast of a human being when pushed to the edge

Rough seas yesterday as we made our way offshore. Calmed down a good bit and had a bumpy ride on the way back. A lot of folks down in Venice - 173 teams registered.

What's the story with Faux Pas the same weekend as Grand Isle Rodeo? I heard it started as a breakaway group from the Grand Isle Rodeo.

I was told some of the guys were tired of what tarpon had become, so they split off and created the Faux Pas. Twenty two years later and it has gotten pretty big.

When Jefferson Parish started with their Street crimes Unit harassing everyone, Kleo Blue started Faux Pas in Venice.

Dude, is that a Freeman? Hope no one was hurt. Looks almost intentional.

What’s the story If it’s from faux pas?!
Let me guess running 65MPH in red pass which is only twice as wide as that boat an came up another boat of the same size doing the same!

Shock wave from MGFC. Supposedly steering either went out or locked up. Nobody hurt. We didn’t see it, but talked to a buddy that was right there.

Yes, this. Mr. Cleo that owns Faux Pas printing in New Orleans is the founder of the rodeo.
Problem was weigh ins and having to bring fish over to GI. That and people were losing fishing time to do that.
