Rat specialist on the northshore? - sloopy
Pest control company told me they can’t do much more than I’m already doing. Need to get/keep rats out of a shed so I can store stuff in it and the poison I’m using isn’t doing the trick. ...

re: Hummingbird GPS Owners - sloopy
I have a lake master Louisiana delta card in my Helix 9 and It gets the job done. EDIT: I didn't realize that Navionics cards work with humminbird. I'd be interested to see some satellite pics if that is a feature and someone is willing to post some screen shots....

re: Reggio Marina - sloopy
Last time I drove by you couldn’t even get in the parking lot due to all the rip rap being stored in the parking lot. I used to fish out of there all the time but haven’t heard of anyone launching there in quite some time. I run there from hopedale or sweet water now if I want to fish Reggio....

re: How deep is it off the docks at the anchor? - sloopy
I would say at least 20-30ft. There are some rather large vessels that anchor along the sea wall in Madisonville....

Yep. There was a very large thread but it died due to lack of posts. Caught the hell out of the brim on the 5wt last weekend. Going to chase reds/jacks tomorrow before these storms roll in....

re: Grizzly killing moose in Glacier Park - sloopy
Glacier was one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to, but it was pretty unsettling to me to be wondering around in grizzly country. That second video was right in front the room we stayed in when they come out the water....

re: Best size Daypack - sloopy
A 30-50L seems pretty over kill to me for a day pack. I have an osprey stratos 24 and a talon 22 and there is plenty of room for a day. I used the 24 in Glacier NP when my wife was pregnant and I had to carry most of her stuff in addition to mine....

re: Where to order trolling motor/fishing electronics? - sloopy
Yeah I’ve heard of them. It is my understanding that they are having a difficult time updating La cards compared to Florida. Do they make a chip for humminbird units?...

re: Where to order trolling motor/fishing electronics? - sloopy
I like being able to make my own mapping cards with simrad and it seems nema networking is cheaper/fewer parts. I also prefer standard mappings chip over the lake master. Don’t get me wrong it does the trick for me, but when it is time to replace I will probably go back to simrad....
