I was looking at staying a night or two here just for the experience. Just cant decide if I should do so towards the end of my trip or at the start. Leaning towards end, if I can get a room as we are behind on that side of things.

We stayed here 3 nights in the beginning of our trip and then did two nights in whitefish in an Airbnb. We preferred this as it was nice to relax with some creature comforts after hiking hard for days, especially with a pregnant wife. Highly suggest grinnel glacier trail, high line trail, and driving the whole going to the sun road if it’s open. Avalanche lake is a nice easy one as well.

I’m not sure if park reservations have changed, but you used to have to make them a year in advance to the day to snag a room at many glacier hotel. Also, watch out for grizzlies! One of the trails we wanted to hike was closed because of aggressive bear activity in the area.

For those that fly with skis, boots, gear, clothes etc., what is your set up? Don’t really want to take a chance of ski boots gettin lost a couple of day if checked.
:dude: Booked a vail trip last week and looking at a possible steamboat trip late march/early April. Got some new skis last season I’m itching to ride!

Should I consider a new set of clubs?

I currently play a set of ping eye 2 that I have had since I was a teenager (hand me downs). I don’t mind playing them, but I’m sure technology has changed since they were made. Also they may not fit me correctly being they are hand me downs.
Use the pompano rig posted above, but the grass has been pretty bad lately so likely to foul up the line.
What kind of boat? I plug both my livewell lines because the fitting is cracked/loose on the backside of one and I’d have to rip the gas tank out to access it.

Have you filled your livewell with the plugs in the transom to see if it leaks? That is how I found mine.

I have never reserved a full 24 hours in advance of when I want to park and I’ve never run into an issue. Flying out Sunday and have my reservation starting Sunday two hours before my flight.

I think it even says you have to enter within two hours of your reservation start time.

I’ve had a Range technology for 6 years and it’s been great.

We did it last year without hiring a captain or chef and had no major issues. Friend has his captains license and is experienced with offshore boats. We brought a few frozen meals with us, got groceries delivered to the boat before hand, and bought some lobster and fish on anegada island. The one issue we had was not being able to get a mooring ball on jost van dyke. There were boats on anchor, but we weren’t comfortable going to shore on anchor especially after seeing people pulling up heads of coral on their anchors. Will you have anyone to help you tie up to mooring balls? It is an incredible trip!

Edit to add that we also ate either lunch or dinner at all the islands we went to. If you make it to anegada you have to rent the scooters!

I used them to have a jack plate and hydraulic steering put in. No complaints here and thought it was a fair price.

Nose piece fell off my bajios so I put a warranty claim in yesterday. They sent me a 100% off replacement coupon code within 6 hours of me putting in the claim. Can’t go wrong with Bajio, Maui or Smith.

What app is that?
Pretty sure you want the hummingbird delta one card that is what I use for hopedale/delacroix/cocodrie. Not many mapping options for a bird compared to simrad/lowrance/garmin.
Crossed over at 5:15 this morning and it wasn’t bad. Heavy stuff must have rolled in later

What’s the deal with the class action? I’m assuming you have to have made repairs already? I have an 18 sierra with 90k miles on it and it jumps forward in low gears after it sits over night. Haven’t made any repairs yet, but waiting for the transmission to shite the bed isn’t the best feeling in the world.

If you’re looking at the skeletors they just came back in stock today. I just picked up a pair to replace my hawk heliums. This is my second season using a saddle so don’t take my word on them. I don’t care for the way the heliums attach to the tree and I’ve read about a few kickouts with them.
