Looking into getting a 2019 Honda Rancher. This is my first time buying a new one from a dealership and I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the dealerships come off the prices much? Has anyone had luck negotiating them down a significant amount?

Any help is appreciated.

I've always heard Brookhaven or Natchez. But some have had success with getting a quote from one of them and letting the closer guys see if they can match or get close enough for it not to be worth the trouble of driving a few hours.

My dealings with Friendly on my last bike purchase will keep me from ever stepping foot in there again. Go to brookhaven, you wont be disappointed.

I bought from Natchez and saved thousands compared to Nola area dealers. Imo, can’t go wrong with Natchez, Brookhaven and laurel.

Drove from Brusly to Honda of Covington just a couple weeks ago to buy a 420 rancher. Easy people to deal with, and good prices. I will echo staying away from Friendly.

I ended up buying from friendly, had my paper from Brookhaven and they came to within $100 of it (although prior to me showing them the paper they were 2K more and were "losing Money" on the deal and were already below invoice, yada yada yada)
But after what how they screwed over my sales person and how crappy the finance portion was, I will never go back

Never said that.

Good prices. And I pick who I'll deal with.

But I am curious about how that guy's salesperson got screwed....

Well, since you asked...I went in there one day and a young lady helped me, she was new, and really did a great job of helping explaining options, etc. I told her I was not quite ready to buy as the deal I was working on my property was not finalized and she agreed that she would not pester me just to let her know when I was ready to move forward.....3-4 weeks later I wrap up my deal on my property and call her up as I am ready to buy, she is on vacation and they transfer me to another sales women, she was not near as nice and I explain to her that me and the first person had a tentative deal and I would not purchase if she did not get at least a split commission, I was assured she would, I also spoke to a manager and expressed my concerns and again was assured she would receive compensation, she did not
