And the finance guy did everything he could to get me to finance through a credit union where I am sure he got compensated from, when Honda was running a promotional 1.9 and I almost had to get ugly with him and finally told him I came for the 1.9 from Honda if that was not available I was not interested in the deal, and I got it

was the CU 1.9? if it was why would you care?

Man I thought you were going to give me new ways to screw with sales people

so where can i find the actual dealer costs on these things?
you can find them right next to the pink unicorn...they do not exist, invoice is just a term they throw around but it really means nothing, just like cars etc, they will show you some paper that says invoice but it means nothing, it does not take into consideration any mfr to dealer incentives, program , hold back, etc..generally their is only 1 or 2 people at the dealership that know what the actual cost and profit is on each sale, and I am okay with that, they are in the business of selling and making money, but don't sit there and tell me this is invoice price and we are losing money on this sale just to make you happy

Tiger23,
I just bought a Polaris General 4 1000.
I looked up every place near me within 2 hour drive.
I called each one, chatted a bit then told them exactly what I wanted.
Give me your best price.
Once the number got low, I asked for that price in writing via email.
Then brought that price to my favorite place. Said, beat the price and I will buy right now.
I got about $4,300 off compared to paying first option.

A bit off topic but go Foreman
We use 2 foremans at our place and love everything about them...we used a rancher years ago and sold it - the foremans just seem to be in a better class

What four wheeler?
1.99 hasn't happened for a few years now. I usually do cash or pay through our work credit union

Got bored of your whole shitting on Honda shtick, eh?
Posted on 10/17/19 at 3:04 pm to Chuker
No. The straight axle Honda atvs are garbage for water usage because of the flaws Honda introduced into their straight axle design in 1988. The IRS honda bikes are too expensive.
The dct 1000 still has issues.
Not my fault you frickers don't listen to reason.

I bought one from friendly in February. Once they found out I wasn't financing, they weren't quite as friendly.

Recently bought a Rancher. Got a quote from Brookhaven and they wouldn’t budge on asking price. Brought the offer to Honda of Covington and they beat it by a couple hundred.
Brookhaven acted like they were doing me a favor by selling atvs, which I can’t stand. I won’t be doing business with Brookhaven any time soon.
Covington was at least willing to negotiate and were plenty friendly.

I never even considered the Honda in Covington because I always thought they were ridiculously high. I live 5 mins from there so I’ll give them a call in the morning to see what kind of deal they come up with.

Call the old Southside Honda in Lafayette. Lafayette power sports just bought them out and they'll deal now under new ownership
