Is anyone running these and if so how do they ride? I need new tires for my duramax and have ran Toyo R/T's the last 2 sets. I can get the BFG'S at cosfor $1885 otd. The cheapest I can find toyo or nitto are $2300 to $2400

Saw this on Tire Rack, not sure if it applies if you purchase somewhere else but worth checking into.

I gotta re-tire my dually soon and am considering these.

Currently have the Cooper AT and cannot say I'd buy them again.

There was a thread on tires a month or two ago asking about AT tires. The guy at my dealership and a guy at discount tire both told me that they have seen issues with KO3 not being able to balance them. That they were out of round or something.

Maybe it was a bad batch of them and they have them fixed by now. I love my KO2s.

Surprisingly good for an off-road tire. The consistent hit on them is traction in wet conditions and they came on my daily driver so I took them off after a few hundred miles and sold them, but they rode well and were pretty quiet given the tread.

I dealt with this issue with the KO3 on two vehicles. Not a fan.

There’s a guy on IG that owns a tire shop and does lots of reviews on AT and MTs. He’s commented that the KO3s have some pretty major balancing issues. My KO2s have been great tires.

I put KO3 on second set of rims thinking I would only use them during turkey season. Left them on all summer. Thought they would be noisy and rough. Not the case. 35,000 miles in and no complaints.

In all of these tire threads there is always a guy that says he has 65,000 on his BFG’s and can go another 30. Always thought they were full of shite.

Now, Thinking they are only slightly exaggerating.

I got a big nail on right rear of my Nitto terra grapplers, only 24k miles on them and it can't be repaired. I really hate getting 4 new ones, weighing options. Mixed reviews on KO3, noted.

I’d spend a little more and get the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I used to run KO2s on my 02 Excursion with a 7.3. Bought KO3s when it came time for new tires and they would not stay balanced. Shop gave me a credit and sold me the Nittos and I couldn’t be happier. Running 33s if that makes any difference to you.

What is "IG" and where is this tire shop?
I'm trying to find a shop near me with an alignment tech that truly understands aligning tires on a an off road vehicle with a professional off road suspension..adjustable UCA's etc..
