From Brazil.

Mega Bass

Looks like they pop a lot of different company's boats.

Velostar = Bullet or Blazer
Mega Bass = Nitro
Grand Bass = Triton
Sport Bass = Nitro
Bass Master = Skeeter?
Classic Sport = Older Skeeter / maybe Old Bumblebee?
Classic Tradition = Looks like an older Bass Cat hull with a modern deck.

Decent looking boats.

Crazy MFers driving that fast (especially with no PFD.)

ETA: I see someone says they were wearing PFD's. I didn't see any... but still crazy, even with PFDs.

400 HP with a 32" prop? wholly hell.

Ive been 70mph in a 21’ Ranger and it felt like riding in a car. I have been the same speed in a Blazer and thought I was going to die.

Blazer's hull design takes some getting used to at higher speeds, and all of mine have been prone to chine walk at one speed or another. There is also an art / skill to driving high performance bass boats. Proper engine setup (height & prop) and knowing what, when and how much to adjust while running (throttle, trim, steering) takes a lot of seat time to get down.

I can get my 19' Blazer to 80 before I feel like I am outrunning my abilities. I feel most comfortable in my abilities at 65 and below. Anything worse than good conditions comfortable can be 50s to 30s to just trying to keep the damn thing on plane to be able to see over the bow and keep myself dry.

No way would I ever consider 102!

Man, my heart skipped a beat just watching that.

That shite happens so quick, it's crazy. The human body hitting water at 102mph has to feel like getting hit by a Freightliner.

Dudes got very lucky.

That's Eric Simmons running my boat before delivery, he's running 89+ with one hand filming on his phone and the other on the wheel, the hull design makes for a very stable platform. The boat has been 92+, I'm on my 3rd Mercury as I just keep re-powering since there is no new hulls out there that can do what my can.....yet. Eric just came out with a new 23' that ran 93 with a 400 Verado, the verados are too heavy for my hull though. My new 8 cyl 300R is back ordered until October at the earliest (also keeping an out for the new Mercury announcement in a couple months), excited to see what it will do with it, early reports are that engine is fast, Merc de-tuned the last couple of years of 300xs's because of emissions and I lost about a few mph.

You don’t chop the throttle when running that high up the pad, guaranteed to bow hook and do what you just saw. Trimming down to get out of chine is move one

100%. Trimming down puts more Hull in contact with the water slowly and stops the oscillation. Plus if you do have to start letting off the throttle there is more Hull in contact to counteract the hook.

First time you experience chine is something you will never forget! I have gotten to where now I can almost “feel” it coming and take action before it starts.

That’s exactly what happened between 75-80mph it started wanting to chine walk. It was a friends boat I assume he knew how it drove, but the chine walking was more than I was comfortable with. It’s a Hull you definitely have to drive the hell out of at higher speeds. It’s no Sunday driver with Miss Daisy. lol

CBR900 you got some catching up to do.

96 solo with a fishing load was fine with me. That's why it is propped to run 85. shite gets real real quick over 90.

Hit 85 in my uncle's over powered Triton trx 20... when he gave me goggles I know something was up... ran through a flock of black birds in the spillway at full speed... had birds zipping between us... thought I was gonna die

Hit 87 on my buddy's yammy waverunner GP 1800 on a flat calm Lake Mary... felt like 60, tbh

I've gone about 65 in a couple of buddy's boats. That was more than fast enough for me. My lovely flat bottom does a blistering 27 at top speed with me and my gear. I have no complaints about that Just the other day, my buddy and I made a 9 mile run from the launch to the fishing spot. Didn't bother me one bit.

I get the "need for speed" but damn if you want the adrenaline rush buy a speed boat.

Guess I don't get why bass tournament fishers need to out run everyone.

I'm happy running my 19' aluminum bay boat 35 tops 40 mph in the marsh, will run 50 if I need get away from a t-storm.

Don't think I've ever lost a fish by not going faster lol.

Well that's because my 70mph boat had already gotten me there and I had caught them and left before you arrived

We drew boat number 50 in the IFA last month, passed every boat that left before us including boat #2 that was going to the same area, we had 16+ lbs which would have won it 8 of the last 10 years, finished 2nd though. Most of the time I run it mid 60's to low 70's but it's nice to have the extra when you want it

On the Red River, it used to matter due to the locks opening for the first few boats then closing. If you were not in the lead pack, you stood the chance of waiting for the whole lock through process.
