Seems like a huge pain in the arse to have a dog shipped from England to the states.

Wild Rose is the purveyor of "The Gentleman's Gundog". Why don't you just buy from them? Their lines are British.

I know people who buy horses from the Netherlands. They have to get passports for them and the whole process costs quite a bit.

You’ll have to give commands in an accent or they won’t listen.

I don't think it crosses that many peoples minds TBH.

I know two guys who have English labs. Very, very good hunting dogs. Mild, calm temperament

Have seen a few of their dogs work quite a bit. Great dogs from what I've seen.

The guy who originally started Wild Rose and was the 1st to start bringing English/British Labs to the state is Robert Milner.

I've talked to him a few times. He sold Wild Rose in the 90s.

Anyway, he has a kennel in Somerville, TN which is 30 miles east of Memphis. Suppose to have some really, really good dogs.

I bought mine from a guy that worked for Milner when he owned Wold Rose. The guy that bought it wanted to cross British and Americans. This guy wanted no part and started his own kennel. It's called Southwind Kennels and my dog has been amazing. He's one of the smartest and easiest to train dogs I've ever had. Extremely mild temperament.

This is not true

Mike Stewart owns Wildrose. They only breed, sell, and train 100% pure British blood lines.

I'm typing this as my 2 year old Wildrose dog lays next to my desk at my office, and a day after we went to visit my mom's 8 month old Wildrose dog in diabetic alert training.

You are absolutely wrong on your timeline.

Mike Stewart bought from the guy that wanted to cross them.
If you want Milner's and Robert Parks' number to verify my statement let me know I will get them for you.

I know exactly zero people who have ever had a dog from england, or even mentioned dog and england in the same sentence.
