Stupid question: does the house have wainscotting and sheetrock cut? If so the person cutting the sheetrock may have not set their blade right and cut through the wires. I know because after Rita a contractor did exactly that to my mom and dad's house. I had to rewire their bedroom....

Never got to go to PI. Dad was a Hollywood Seabee in 'Nam and later lateraled to the Corps....went to Recruiter School out at MCRD San Diego for that too....

You probably have something mechanically wrong with the hinge or the door isn't hung properly. I had one do that and after some googling I found out I had a bent hinge "ear". Once I re-aligned it all, no more squeaks....

These college protesters are likely the same people who want student loan forgiveness. So essentially they want taxpayers to foot the bill so they can go be a menace to society to "express themselves". Also, after seeing a few college professors on the news support these non-peaceful demonstration...
