That shoots the "he wasn't doing it for business" argument right in the foot.

Sounded like he had a good idea, but it was poorly executed.

I think INITIALLY he offered to do it as a one time thing for a group of us in the OB. Then once he got several hundred orders (I think he said he had collected over $20k at some point) he then realized..."Hey there might be some money involved in this." So he tried to fulfill his obligations for those who paid first, but then was toying around with the idea of a legit business. He had some Big Green Egg grills setup at the pickup and they were pretty much identical to the ones you see in the store at about 1/3rd of the cost. Not sure if any of those grills ever made it here. I think he just got in over his head with his already super busy lifestyle.

I got mine eventually but it never went as planned. I drove to MS only to have him not answer once and then tell me he was out the 2nd time. This was after confirming multiple times that he was going to hold mine at his place in PG.

That being said I don't think he going to screw anyone l, is just more of a headache than he thought it would be.

If it would have got left at the one time deal, it may have never raised an eyebrow.

When that amount of money is being exchanged and domains are being bought, hopefully everyone can see why the Admins had to put an end to it.

I have you a cooler if you can show you paid him for it, unless it's a 37, out of those till June.

I got mine around Christmas when a poster from my city made a trip over. We had been bouncing emails around on one or two making a trip to pick up as many as they could and I got an offer from one guy going to pick up his. So I paid in August, received in December.

Certainly.

Now it seems a good number of people can’t get their coolers or their money. It is about a commitment. Everyone here has gotten into something that fricked up. You still can’t just punt

Pretty awesome of nocolors to donate all that tip money. Didn’t know he did that.

Getting my coolers was easy as hell. Still can’t get over at how great of a deal I got. Thanks again NC

He gave the tip money along with a cooler signed by a bunch of the OB members to the green jeans that was shot from down there.

Pretty humorous you think either of my posts in this thread is remotely considered crying. I get how it’s a catchy thought to regurgitate that I’m the bad guy in the cooler threads amongst you outdoor posters who are the real ones who sounds like the biggest bitches at times. Take care Columbia.
