PSA for anyone who has an order stuck in submitted.
I called for the 3rd time about my order for 2 firearms for 28% off from last Monday that was still stuck at submitted in my online account summary. The rep looked up my order and said they were delivered to the store and to go pick them up. I just got back and have them both.
My order still says submitted and I never received a call or email, so if you still have an outstanding order it would probably be a good idea to call and check on it's status.

I was just told that they had no order in the system for a firearm for me. (Online chat)
Said I would have to discuss with my bank about the charge.

Do you have your order#, if so I would call and see if you have better luck. My interactions with them seemed to indicate a wide variance of competence. I would also try to escalate to a supervisor if you can't make any progress.

I broke down too a while back and got a little Walter P22 QD. They re-did them and are supposed to be way more reliable. On sale...what better time to see

I did get an order number but I didn’t screenshot it because normally get a confirmation email.

Update - my order (powerpole) was stuck in processing status since last monday. I chatted with an agent, apprently they are out of stock. They cancelled my order, but gave me a 30% off one time use coupon. I bought the powerpole pro which shows in stock. It wouldnt allow me to add any firearms to the order due to ship to store and ship to home have to be on separate orders.

Update on my order: Academy gave me another 20% off code to reorder at the same price.
Also said that the charge should have fallen off instead of being processed. To check with my bank because academy has not received the payment. Said if I had any trouble with the bank removing the charge to contact again and they could provide the info to back up their claim of no payment to my bank.

I called today to get the status of my order bc it still just said "submitted" from a week ago. Gal on the phone said it was scheduled for delivery tomorrow. As soon as i hung up i got an email with tracking info. Boom

I got everything from both orders except my "I Know It" colored Whopper Plopper. Tracking number confirms it is at the post office and our for delivery today though.
I think my favorite thing about ordering from Academy regardless of discount is when you buy multiple items you're likely to get multiple deliveries. Opening up packages like a kid at Christmas! You da man, NOLA!
