His bond was $20,000 not 2m. He explains they forgot a comma on the paper work. I used to like his old videos but he has seemed to Change lot lately. He has fought some battles again the state im curious to see how this plays out. From what I understand if it was set up legally in Montana under a llc he done nothing wrong. Plenty of people do this every day.

Try calling no problem drag strip. They may know someone in the area that has it. That crap burns my eyes when someone is running it in their bike.
re: WFH vs Working from India
Posted by bayou choupique on 2/14/25 at 6:44 pm to StanSmith
I worked for a larger contractor that was foreign owned. We had a problem on a job and they said they had an independent engineering firm that could create a fix for the problem. It was Indians and they paid them pennies on the dollar to what it would have cost an American firm to design it. And you guessed it they had to have it redesigned at the end of the day.
I live in an area that has a lot of Indians. Frick them smelly no driving sob’s.

re: DIY taxes
Posted by bayou choupique on 1/30/25 at 5:00 pm to xBirdx
The new tax laws make it pretty simple. The standard deduction this year I believe is about 24,000. As long as you don’t play with stocks and have rental properties you will able to figure it out. Most places now can import a w2 and save your information from year to year to make it even easier.
re: "Dealer fees" in connection with a used-vehicle purchase
Posted by bayou choupique on 1/22/25 at 7:08 pm to iwyLSUiwy
I bought a Tacoma in NC and they had a $899 doc fee and $1800 add on for paint protection etc. the doc fee is non negotiable but I found they same truck at another dealer and I told them I was leaving to buy it there since they did not have the extra $1800 add on. They took it off…..
And yes, even the power sports dealerships are doing it now too.

Yes more Muslims. More Mexicans. More dot Indians. They are invading us.

We had the four digit numbers where I grew up. I could call my grandparents and a few friend with dour digits only. We also did have party lines and shared it with the old lady across the street. Most people to this day do not believe me about the party lines.

I bought a bundle at academy years ago, everything you mentioned. I’ve fried no less than 20 turkeys in it. Super easy and comes out perfect each time. 3-3.5 minutes per pound and no bigger than 14 lbs.

Income tax on part time job
Posted by bayou choupique on 10/30/24 at 6:23 pm
My wife recently took a part time job. Her first few pay checks did not have federal taxes taken out. If I am reading irs.gov correctly, she would not pay federal taxes if we file jointly and she makes less than 28,000 per year? I just don’t want to be hit with an extra tax bill and the end of the year.
re: JD Vance is actually pretty friggin' normal

I watched the Theo pod cast and was amazed at the comments. Everyone was saying how normal he was and didn’t understand why Poole were calling him weird.
re: Why is Harris Walz listed first on the presidential ballot?
Posted by bayou choupique on 10/21/24 at 8:03 pm to oldskule
Same way in NC. She is on top. Trump is in the middle.
In new commercial Kamala said she would cut taxes for 100 million families
Posted by bayou choupique on 10/21/24 at 7:19 pm
And there are only 84 million or so in the US. Either she is that stupid or she plans to bring in 16 more immigrant families. Please explain.
re: Kamala: "Donald Trump is too exhausted and cancelling all of his events"

He is doing podcast, phone calls, and tv interviews between campaign stops. I don’t know how he does it. He is. It snowing down. She is desperate

With the number of Bostonians, New Yorkers and Californians that have moved here over the past several years, especially during covid, it wouldn't surprise me if the state starts pulling hard left. Traditionally, it's been a down the middle moderate state but the new residents are significantly hard left leaning. They move here because their own states have been ruined by left wing policies and bring that failed mindset and voting pattern here. It's really frustrating. That and the suburban white women here are pulling for "girl power". Hopefully, I'm wrong, but it's pretty much a dead heat. At least we have voter ID laws and paper ballots in place this cycle and severe limits on mail in voting. It should be as clean as an election as you could hope for. If Trump can't carry the state, it'll be from the change in the voter base.
Very true. I live near Raleigh and no one is from here. Raleigh and Charlotte metro areas have a lot of democrats. Leave the big cities and you see trump flags everywhere. We do have the Id law this go around and they are not mailing ballots like they were in 2020.
re: This person is excited all 168 delegates in NC just voided the votes of the primary voters

So if Kamala is not the candidate , the votes are wasted?
