You know what's weird about people?

People caring so much about what others believe in

Go watch 'Going Clear' on HBO then follow it up with Leah Remini's show.

It's not what they believe in, it's their support of a criminal organization that ruins thousands of peoples lives and actively engages in physical and mental abuse of members and their extended family.

Seemingly everyone who encounters Tom in the wild says he's a genuinely great guy and kind to those who ask for pictures and want to talk. Remembers crew members family and birthdays, etc.

He is a consummate professional and one of the good guys in that role/field.

Tom Cruise is literally Scientology's Jesus Christ.

It seems he’s smart enough to understand that Misgivege and company may have the goods as does himself so it’s a mutually beneficial arrangement to not burn down your own house

Because by most accounts he’s a good guy who values his work to the point of perfection while also seemingly having a good public relationship with his first kids and the public.. I’m sure he’s perfectionism with his work has caused some tempers but the man knows how to make entertaining movies

Vanilla Sky and it was entertaining and has a cult following. Not my favorite, but I'm not mad I saw it in theaters.

I’m convinced he would still ask about my now dead dog by name if I worked with him again a decade later.

Meanwhile I can’t remember anyone’s name. Maybe I need Scientology.

He was this, like 30 years ago.

Miscavige identified Cruise in the early 80s and basically bro'd up with him in order to create Cruise as the Scientology Christ.

He’s high enough in Scientology to know that it’s bullshite. He’s in on the grift at this point.

Seth Rogen has described a “bizarre” meeting he had with Tom Cruise, in which the actor allegedly tried to convince him of the merits of Scientology.

Well Seth Rogen is a huge piece of shite. I'd rather deal with Cruise trying to sell me on Scientology than have to spend a minute with Seth.

It will be interesting to see what happens to that cult once he passes away. Nothing? Big impact?

Very good movie- opening scene was absolutely jarring when Radiohead played in the background of it.

It seems like all celebrities have something. Weird sex stuff (child sex abuse, open marriages), drugs/alcohol, etc. Tom may be the most normal one because his belief in Xenu or whatever keeps him on the straight and narrow otherwise.
