The list is too long……but here’s a few

> short, but has clauses in his contract that no leading lady can be taller than him in the shot
> has absolutely NO range
> cult leader
> acted better when he had jacked-up teeth (Outsiders, etc.)

Exactly. Just like I work with a couple people who come across like perfectly normal, reasonable people ... and then find out that they're Roman Catholic and now I have to question everything they say/do.

Yep.. $cientology isnt any crazier than any other religion .. it’s just NEWER .

I grew up Catholic , believing things like a guy could part the Red Sea, or that another guy could literally turn water into wine, or that priests could be heterosexual… Crazy shite like that .

He’s a great actor.

Watch Rain Man. He’s got the harder job reacting to Dustin’s character.

Separate the actor from the person, his movies are great but I am not going over to his house to watch college football.

That’s the odd thing about Tom Cruise. He does normal things like watch college football, and invites neighbors and crew members from his movies.

There’s plenty of people that have encountered him away from the spotlight, and the consensus is that he’s normal and very nice.

Then there is the very controlled Scientology side of him that shows up in his public appearances and press coverage.

Correct.. Far more subtle than Hoffman, who mainly just chews the scenery .

Cruise’s best films are A Few Good Men, Jerry Maguire and Rain Man.. Cruise’s best *performances* are in Born on the Fourth of July and in Magnolia, both of which i consider good, but not great movies.. but Cruise’s work in both is a masterclass.. He’s extremely underrated as an actor, i could give a shite about his stunt work .

Family has had numerous personal interactions with him. He is a genuinely nice person. Doesn’t mean he isn’t cray behind the scenes or in marriage but has done many (unrequired) things to show kindness.

He doesn't have to worry about getting corn on the cob stuck between his two front teeth, just gets stuck on the sides of his one front tooth.

In the European cut, you see top level fashion models getting balled or 69'd on screen. These are women who one would never see nude, much less in a vigorous sex scene.

I don’t care… until there’s so much smoke there has to be a fire of criminal practices.

I think a lot of those show biz people start to believing they are what their carefully marketed persona is
