you have a knife, bat, and thick clothes...would you rather fight a bear or 5 wolves?

a friend of mine and I are having this debate. I say wolves no brainer the grizzly would rip your face of
lets say a 12" knife in Yellowstone park you wander into a wolf den or onto a momma bear with 2 cubs. They're not trying to eat you to survive both just want you the frick outta there to complete the scenario

You might be able to get a lick in on a wolf with the bat before you are ripped to pieces. The bear would just chuckle if you his him full force in the head.

I think I’d be dead in either situation but I’ll take the grizzly. Either I get a lucky swing in and daze the bear long enough to escape, or I have my head ripped off for a quick death as opposed to a pack of wolves eating me alive

Wolves all day. Slash the throats of a couple and you at least have a chance. With a grizzly, you have no shot. You’re going to get eaten and shite out somewhere in the mountains

Are the animals hungry or could they be scared off?
If not hungry I’d probably pick the bear because I’m likely dead either way, and I’d rather change one animals mind about attacking than 5 who likely feed off each other.
