Are college basketball coaches the most unlikeable people?
re: The New York Times wouldn't lie.....nawwwww

They wouldn’t call it lying. It just a story that will generate clicks for them because it’s March and it’s a scandalous college bball story so they just print with out a lot of effort into fact checking. And it worked a bunch of people clicked

Let CJ Stroud or equivalent get a targeting the week before the Michigan game and half to sit out a half and see how quick the media calls for a rule change

Absolutely, you see too many offensive players dropping their head or ducking at the last second causing a targeting call.
This is the cause of most targeting calls.

The offensive player should not be allowed to lower their head. This would be the best way to limit head to head hits.
All for player safety right?

And lastly, all you have to do is roll over and then the move is reversed on the person who applied it in the first place.
This is how I know you never tried it
re: Bama fan question. How long will Saban be there?

I’ve been saying 3-5 more years for over 10 years now
re: Nashville talking about a new NFL Stadium,

Nashville definitely needs a new stadium, but I'm sure the Davidson County residents who have already seen 70+% property tax hikes the past few years will be thrilled to pay even more.
That’s the only way this new business model of needing a new stadium every 20 years works, by adding the cost on property, gas, sales taxes etc.
That way the cost doesn’t matter to the people doing the project. They just tear down the old stadium.
Over half the NFL teams are in a stadium built since 2000
How many of the top 50 CFB team have had a new stadium in that time frame ( I understand many have had high dollar renovations)

How was his outside shot at Bama? He has really impressed me with that part of his game in the NBA
Was never a dependable 3 point threat but made enough to keep teams honest
re: Is it more impressive to win in college basketball or college football?

While great to watch, a 64 team single elimination tournament is a terrible way to decide a champion of a season.
So its easier for a “undeserving” team to win but much harder to maintain success
If CBB wants a more legit champ. it needs to be something like a 8-16 team tourney with playing best of 2 of 3

You know most of the guys run under 40 yards about 4-5 sec from dead stop

Good idea but only issue is a lot of these rural areas have an unreliable internet connection. We have a few people who WFH out in rural areas and they constantly have connection/audio issues in our meetings.
This is true but there are a ton of people that are considered “rural” that live in subdivision of cities that are 30K-50K people

That 70k salary gets them four equally qualified English speaking Indians on call 24/7 that they can replace for any reason with a quick email.
Everyone talks about outsourcing overseas but what about outsourcing to people in rural areas without job opportunities
That would do jobs for much less than the people living in urban areas

That’s a 50,000 wage range. You don’t think some managers and skilled workers are making between 80,000-90,000?
You think someone working from home making 40,000 has the same skill set/job description/experience as someone making 90,000?
Nope, just trying weed out the guy that was going to say I’m a programmer making 250K from home or I’m a salesman that goes into the office that clears 400K.
Or the guy that was going to say he lets his employees work from home and they all make 100K
What will be the going salary rate for in office employees in the next few years
Posted by D Tide on 1/4/22 at 9:40 pm
After talking to several people over the last few months, it seems like a bunch of them are working from home, a lot of these jobs pay a decent wage and insurance but the people have started very profitable side gigs or it has allowed them to have childcare and insurance covered by someone at home, letting the other spouse start a business etc
With that said what is the going rate going to be for people that have to come into the office in the next couple years. Not high skilled people or managers, I’m talking about the people making 40K-90K now

re: Why didn’t Kelly coach the bowl game?

It’s a no win situation for an incoming coach to coach the bowl game.

What are y’all even talking about? Is this what you discuss when you don’t go to a bowl game?
