I grew a beard for no-shave November in 2007. People were saying the same thing back then. I have had a beard ever since that time. I realize I'm nearly 40 years old now, so no one cares what I'm doing as a "trend", but it's not as big of a trendy thing as you think. Mustaches...maybe.

This is a retarded take. You could just as easily say someone clean shaven doesn't want to take a look at themselves in the mirror everymorning so they cut the natural hair off their face. It's more natural to have facial hair than to not.

Nah I just got tired of cutting and ripping hairs off my chin. I honestly don’t know how people can stand shaving every day, even with a brand new razor I get severe visible razor burn.
Then again mine has never been overgrown like that, I clip mine with a 2 or 3 guard 1-2x/week.
