Any country;
Russia
China
Canada (useless other than it limits the number of boarders we are defending in a true world war)

Current allies:
Germany
UK
Canada

Wild Card:
Saudi Arabia

That’s any Asian Society. Generally domicile.

USA: Geographically isolated, rich, manufacturing and logistical capabilities off the charts, large population

Russia: Massive in size, difficult to impossible to invade successfully, enormous army that could overwhelm anyone by sheer numbers

Germany: Highly focused, well trained, U-boat wolfpacks combined with US Navy would be op, highly progressive engineering, missile technology could be married to nukes early on to create devastating weapons

If WW3 were to occur in the next 50 years, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, telecommunications, and data gathering, storage, and evaluation would all be absolutely essential components of any successful campaign. China is the only country able to come close to competing on those grounds.

They are the closest thing to our technological rival. Wiping them out fast will be possible, but it will be far harder than wiping out virtually any other country on the planet. So in this crazy, pick your allies without any condition scenario, it would be far preferable to have them on our side than to have to worry about them.

The US and China alone would be enough to win 999 times out of 1000.

If you are picking without emotion then the choice is pretty cut and dried.

Russia
China
India

Coupled with the US that combined military could destroy the rest of the world's militaries combined. Two countries at a time could just be kicking back in their there cars eatin' tots and drinking ocean water until the other two tag out.

My line up:

Russia.
China.
Australia.

This is completely non-sensical. If Russia and China were on the same side as the US, there is no WWIII. It doesn't matter if Israel or India sets off some nukes—there is no WWIII. There is no coalition that would be stupid enough to form to take on this group. Even if The US/China/Russia axis decided to bulldoze the political landscape around the world, no group could form that could challenge it.

Ftfy.

And what you just said is generally untrue. There has been more war in the far East than basically anywhere else on this planet in just the last 150 years.

Nevermind the centuries of war before that.

This made me lol. Maybe we can make a Despicable Me type weapon and stick some jellyfish into a gun and shoot them out. Anyway the easy choice is Russia and China but as others have stated if both of these countries are on our side, WWIII doesn’t happen.
