I wouldn't be surprised if it was here as early as Nov 2019. I remember people getting sick, they thought they had the flu, went get tested and it wasn't...

Really interested to know if they got any antibody tests

A colleague's sister was diagnosed with "mysterious" pneumonia symptoms in January.
She even took off work to go visit because they were uncertain if her sister would recover.
Then, after aggressive treatment & respirator therapy, she turned the corner & came out if it.
Looking back, she suspects her sister had corona.
This was in January & she works for the State Dept in D.C.

When they got back on the job, the entire site got very sick but tested negative for flu.
Me and a few coworkers have been saying this all along. I had a few friends and family members that all tested negative for the flu but were sick as a dog.
I would put money on every one of those being COVID before it was identified.

Swear I had it late last December- early February as many others on here can probably relate. Negative on antibody test back in April.

I had a friend come back from Europe after Xmas. Was sick as a dog his last day in Europe and when he got back to Louisiana. Doctors didn’t know what it was. Tested negative for the flu. Was fine a few days later

Coworkers told me they all think I had this long before the pandemic started back in March. I had
something with very similar (if not exactly the same) symptoms as Rona. But this was Back in December.
Who knows?
This whole thing has been so fricked up. I’d believe anything at this point.

We all went home for Christmas last year.
Part of the family was sick and got everyone else sick as well. Ended up being RSV(my kid tested +ve for it). I also did an antibody test in April and was negative.
However FIL, remained persistently sick with pneumonia like symptoms for about a month or so after(Jan-feb). We all just assumed it was just a prolonged recovery from RSV with him being 70. Does multiple courses of antibiotics and steroids and finally gets better.
Fast forward another couple of weeks at the beginning of March and he returns to work and his co worker tests positive for COVID-19, so he has to get tested. Negative for covid 19 but somehow he was positive for the antibodies....despite not being sick between mid/end Feb to beginning of March.
So either he was a 70 year asymptomatic infection for covid at the end of Feb/early March or he actually had covid back in early-mid January.
I would have to presume that when he was sick from Jan/Feb that he actually had covid and not some lingering rsv etc.

I was at SECCG, CFP Semi, CFP Final, and Mardi Gras in NOLA.
Guess I shouldn’t be surprised I haven’t ‘gotten it’ recently while being in contact with many people that have had it.

All I can say is I am glad the National Championship game was not affected.

West Monroe High School had 940+ students out last year around Thanksgiving with flu like symptoms, but they were testing negative for flu. Zero doubt in my mind that it was here waaaaaaaaay before they say it was.

There were probably 250 people packed a-hole-to-elbow in Manning’s watching the SEC Championship game with us.

I was sick as hell a week before Xmas last year. Went to urgent care. Negative flu. They assumed flu and that I was there too early to show positive.
Who the hell knows.
