I’ve always thought that something like this would be good for a hurricane shelter. Either bury it right below the surface or just put it out of sight out of mind. I haven’t quite thought that far ahead yet.
ETA: I didn’t watch the video, so I’m sure a hurricane would blow that to shite. I was thinking more along the lines of seacans that size or something similar/sturdier

Seems like those are made for people with big backyards who want to get into the vrbo game.

I wonder if you can tie it into pilings to make a garage apartment.

You shared an efficiency with your bro? Bunk beds or what?

I wouldn't live in it as a primary residence but it would make a decent little smoke shack/guest house for the backyard.

As a single guy, absolutely. Only problem I see is that you probably wouldn’t get the ROI you get on a house because I can’t imagine you’d sell that thing for more than you bought it.

I lived in a travel trailer for about 3 years straight when I was working all over the country. I was working outside of Orlando and booked a spot in a nice RV park. The drive was killing me. 1 hour, tolls, traffic. So I found the closest spot I could to where I was working. It was hell. Out in the boonies, dead end road, about 150 junk cars in peoples yard. There was like a 10 lot trailer park at the end and it was cheap.
There was a pitbull tied up on a cable that when I went around to dump my sewer his teeth came about 6 inches from my arse. Foaming at the mouth. Always people just standing around staring at your every move. I had one of those Amway people want to come over and do a little presentation, I tried to use the shithole I lived in to persuade him not to come, but he wouldn't take no for an answer. When he showed up he said you're right, this is an absolute shithole.
I made a midnight getaway, in the rain. I was laying awake in bed, could hear screams and barking. Just couldn't take one more minute. Put the F250 in 4WD and hooked her up. Slung mud for the next 45 miles until I was far away from there. Yikes.

$50k entry, but you are going to be looking at another $30k to get the sitework done, put in utilities, finish it out, and furnish it.
