I don't like that they ask "would you like to make a donation to ____" when checking out at the grocery store.

Dirty little guilt tactic.

If it's somewhere I've shopped before online - like Best Buy or Dick's, usually the stuff is in the system already and I select email.

If I have to put the info in I select print and just take the paper and go.

I hate the damned 20 questions every time I go to check out . Why does it need to be so complicated?

I am always in a struggle when I use the self check out....I always use them unless there is there is something I am buying that I think will cause issue like weighing something. My struggle is I am now helping the store be more profitable since I am now giving them free labor. It annoys me, but I usually forget about 3 seconds after I walk out of door.

I kind of like it for bigger purchases so you always have receipt. Setting it up the first time is a hassle but after that it knows your email address from the credit card you're using and it's quite easy.

I hate when they casually request my email and phone number.

The CVS paper receipt is unbelievable really. Everytime it's about 3-4 feet of bullshite.

I was at PetsMart the other day and while checking out I was asked “do you want to help save a dogs life today?” The boldness of the question made me say no. Such a bullshite trap for customers

Who the frick still wants paper receipts?

All of my receipts are emailed and the email is tied to my card, so I only get this question once, after that the machine remembers my preferences based on my card.

It's even better if a store accepts Android or Samsung pay.

Are you bitching bc you can buy virtually endless amount of goods by swipe a piece of plastic through a tiny box?? I bet you hate ATM’s as well. Damn machine that spits money out upon command.

That's for customers who are purchasing something they can claim on their income taxes or for business expense reimbursement purposes.

They don't have to worry about handling and storing a paper receipt and can just save the electronic image of it.

I like it that Office Depot, Home Depot and Lowe's give me the option of saving the receipt electronically.
