So down the road about 20 miles, he pulls off an exit. I decide to be the good Samaritan type and still try to let him know. Finally catch up to him at the stop sign. Kind of a rural area so no traffic. I honked my horn at him and got out of the car. Yeah, he could have been strapped. But you gotta do what you gotta do.Good
Good on you for taking your time and doing the right thing.
I once saw a guy on bike lose his phone on !-55 S just outside of Laplace early one morning. I was headed to airport, just before Laplace he noticed it and took the exit and started to look through his pockets and backpack. I told he lost it about 5 miles back. It was a bad day for him and a pain in the arse getting back on interstate for me, but I'd want someone to do the same I guess.

Similar mindset, during the 2016 flood, I had all 2wd vehicles. Lost them all (4). Saw stock 4wds escaping much better than myself. I decided in the aftermath I would not own 2wd vehicles any longer if I could help it. I know enough that it's not a 100% guarantee, but I wanted to increase my odds if the time comes again flood or other, I would be better prepared.
re: Ozone generator ... Best chamber for one?

I would think you could not fully seal the lid and it should be fine. Maybe a couple small holes in lid for a little more flow. That will also let you keep the tub useful later. I don’t know the exact science but I think you want to replace the air with ozone to a large degree.

Can you fit it inside a plastic tub?

I agree with him not being a hero. Most people give him attention because at some level, they relate to him. That's not saying he was justified, but people probably say "Hmm, I can see why he did that"

Can you get your deposit back?
Very Important question here, depending on the deposit, doesn't it make sense to go to A if you can't get it back?

The potential neighbors are the ones who picked the lot and the floorplan and now the same builder is building it for them. It’s 50%+complete.
Setting yourself up for some awkwardness with your new neighbors. If they selected the same plan and next door, know you are making it public your issue, I can’t imagine that to be a comfortable situation in years to come.
You knew there would be same plan in the hood, maybe it’s the most popular and when time to sell it will be more valuable based on that.

Belaire really isn’t near others or airport. Did you just throw them in there. They would be far more likely to be impacted by Amazon than the airport
re: Pro Tip: If staying in a hotel always put something behind the door.
Posted by The Korean on 3/8/25 at 5:37 pm to The Boat
Years ago I worked for a major hotel chain and the hotel can program a key that over rides the deadbolt and is used just like a key card.
The security bar can be bypasses in about 5 seconds by a tool. Open door slide tool in and close door open door again and tool keeps security bar from engaging.
No hotel is going to put measures in place they can’t overcome. For that reason it can and does get in wrong hands.

How many of us have as adults, eaten something regardless of the consequences because we want what we shouldn’t have. A 6 year old with access to milk does not have the self discipline to not drink it.

These might be more expensive compared to what you are looking for, but they look nice.

If you did it to better yourself then it wasn’t stupid. Much more stupid things you could do. Stick with it and you’ll gain a lot once you work out the kinks and will be even better off.

When I was a kid, it was banchan, or kimchi and it usually had a piece of saran wrap on the top between lid and container to keep the smell down.
ETA-My memory also tells me that the containers were so old the label had started to wear off.

I keep a small spiral notebook on my desk with daily tasks I need to do. And log every important message. I cross out when tasks complete or returned call with date and time. I put a start date on the cover and the end date on the cover when the notebook is full. I have a file box in my office where I have kept every notebook since 2000. Literally can see what I did everyday at work since then. I own my company and not sure why I still do it, just a habit at this point.
+1
Also, there is something to writing with a good pen, heck, even an ok pen. I feel writing has been lost.

I think in summer the AC temp setting plays a part of it. Meaning if the AC needs to still run to meet the temp setting it will not turn. One of the factors the computer takes into account. I could be wrong.

Just showing off with the brand new plywood, if you weren't just doing this for views, you'd drag the sheet of plywood that has been leaning against the shed for the past 3 years that shows some patina and maybe a dirt line from the 4 inches it's sunk into the earth

re: Melancon's Cafe in Morganza (Easy Rider movie) Who's bright idea was it to tear it down?
Posted by The Korean on 10/4/24 at 3:50 pm to LSUMJ
There is a granite statue in the middle of field in Magnolia MS where a plane dropped out of sky that gets visitors. There is a corner in Winslow AZ that supports the whole town it looks like. No reason to think it couldn’t be worth it to keep a cafe from a movie there to maybe do some good for an otherwise down place.
