Would you leave your friends and family for a price?

Knowing that your family would be set financially without you is there an amount of money you could be paid to walk away from everyone in your life and start over in a new place?

If it was exponentially more than I could make in my lifetime, I would consider it. I was suicidal for so long, I already made peace with leaving everything and everyone I loved, for free. Couldn't be that hard to do it again. knowing they would never want for anything other than a dad helps, and my wife is smart & pretty enough to marry a decent dude who would help raise them right. It would suck but it would be a sacrifice I would consider for the right price.

Jeez, the downvotes. In a world where mentally ill people willfully embracing the illness get celebrated on TV as if they are heroes, talking about your own less-entertaining mental illness and how it affects your life still draws negative responses.

I don't see my family much as it is so that wouldn't really bother me much. I have no kids so that isn't an issue either. Leaving the wife would be the sticking point. How much money are we talking?

Absolutely, if they have no financial worries their quality of life would be significantly better than a family that had to grind working the 9-5 and sees their kids for 3 hours a night and an hour before school.

I would be miserable without my sons, but the opportunities they would have would still outweigh

This hit me right in the feels.

Wunna know what kept me going? I didn't know what would happen to my dogs if I were gone. As happy as I appear now there is still that shadow hanging over me sometimes. I was close to death for a long time. Went a few years not knowing if I could make it another night.

My friends and family bring me a great amount of joy. IDK if I could give that up knowing what the alternative is.

Glad you made it.

Same here. I take my pills for the depression and smoke weed for the anxiety almost nightly, lost 30lbs. Life has never been better. Bad genetics, man.

They would wind up doing gay porn without a father figure in their lives.

Kids are a deal killer. Besides that, sure. I’d like to wait until my Dear Mum dies though. Also I get to bring my dog. Good luck Mrs Pimp ( today is literally my 25th anniversary lol).

Eh.. I grew up without a dad, but I am almost certain that had nothing to do with my choices to do gay porn
