re: Would you have even known that COVID existed if the media hadn’t talked about it 24/7/365?

My favorite is “if they didn’t use vents people would have all lived”
It’s just a completely ignorant understanding of what a ventilator is

ventilators killed a bunch of people

It’s almost like by the time we were putting the people on vents their lungs were completely fricked…
I had so many that I would work with and even on the high flow O2 just standing would tank their O2 for a good 10 mins.
I still think the isolation was what got some of the younger people at our hospital.
I had a 48 year old dad of 4 who had a lot in common with me. He started off ok but just needing 3-4 L of O2. He tanked pretty quick with the pneumonia. The isolation and the constant hiss of the O2 just made him a different person over that week and a half. I’d try to FaceTime his kids with him and pep him up but the guy just gave up in that room. I still think if they would’ve let his kids come in in PPE and and actually touch their dad that he would’ve maybe fought harder.

i don't understand these "deniers". they deny covid, they deny the holocaust, they deny everthing except that Trump lost in 2020. fancy that; wonder what the connection may be

Covid broke so many people

If it was proclaimed to be a really bad case of the flu, people may have bought into it.

Yeah. Several people I know died from it, others got very sick and had to be hospitalized.

Still see a big rift on how people talk about covid 6-years on.
"Something happened to us" is the leading mentality.
The majority of people view it some calamity that came out of the void. Some act of god like a hurricane that humans have no control over.
Majority of people think covid is something that spawned itself into being when pangolin ate some batshit. A calamity of nature we had no control over.
The truth is that covid was a manmade virus.
People were aware almost immediately that the virus was man-made and a was modified to make it even more transmissible. But nobody ever came out and said this.
The whole world was lied to because the reality that covid was a biological weapon would have been too horrific.
So here we are 6-years later still arguing about what covid is, or what covid was.

The fatality rate with the flu doesn't go above 0.1%. At the height of China virus, the fatality rate was as high as 1%.
Did they die of COVID or with covid? During this time , everyone that died and tested positive for COVID , died of covid. Regardless if they were decapitated in a car wreck. Hospitals had to get in on the money grab.

once she hit the ventilator it was over
If they had given her a good protocol and kept her off the ventilator - she probably would have lived.

Even if this were true, which it isn’t - it would have then gone down as the worst flu epidemic ever with just about every American knowing of someone who was either hospitalized or died
I don’t know a single person who died from COVID. And I live in a major metropolitan area and work in a busy clinic.

Do you think it’s possible bc it was incorrectly treated? Nobody knew what to do. It was clear vents and meds being used were a death sentence. I’d later read something about that.

Good. China deserves it.

Yes because more than half of our residents died. I’m talking like 40.
The flu didn’t often kill them honestly prior to Covid.

quote:no, it was worse than the flu
It was indistinguishable from the flu in both symptoms and severity, so obviously not.
And unfortunately I still have side effects from having the virus - I didn’t get the vaccine - just caught it from someone who had just gotten the vaccine
It was terrible

At least 8 million American souls would.

I lied. I know one person who got extremely sick from Covid.
Other than that, myself and everyone else I know brushed it off in a day or two.

Are you still pushing the narrative that healthy people were dying of covid?
It’s 2026 man. Everyone knows that was not the case.
