I've always been partial to this.
My mom had one briefly and it was just the finest thing in the world to me.
I'll own one eventually. Very good conditions examples are 25k

Waiting for the 6 cylinder version to come back. Thinking this year?
You can get a 6 Cyl Cayman. Spring for the GT4. :)
I was a few cars behind a GT4 on the Causeway several months ago. Without actually seeing the car I knew there was a HiPo Porsche somewhere close by. I remember my wife calling BS until I passed a couple cars and showed her. The noises those things make are sublime.

The problem with buying a GT4 is just getting an allocation though Porsche has upped their production numbers on all their GT cars the GT4 and GT3 are still in pretty high demand, you can still find GT2 RSs on the lots however.
Add to that the build sheet for most people ordering a GT4 is going to be around $130k. For most people the Cayman 4.0 GTS is a better car, not as stripped, much more comfortable and a good bit less expensive unless you pile on the options.
The 718 chassis is one of the most sublime drivers cars built today, it is a shame so many people peg it as a "chick" car.

Yeah, no.

That must be why the Mustang outsells and outperforms the Camereo every damn year.

I've driven both an Audi TT and Mazda MX5. Audi TT was a money pit. Great car, but way too expensive to repair and maintain. MX5 was just too small for me. I liked it but needed more space. Couldn't even fit a suitcase in the trunk

None on your list - 911 only.

Of all the cars I've ever owned my Miata was my favorite. Lost in a divorce otherwise I would still be driving it.
Will buy another one within the next 2 years.
Consider one of the old roadster versions of the Z4. I've owned both and the Z4 drove similarly (go-kart feeling) but with CONSIDERABLY more power under the hood. A blast to drive.
I've always heard it's a real POS but I really dig the look of that Camaro. Sharpest looking Camaros since the late 80's IROC.

Have rented several. It drives better than I imagined. Still don’t think I’d own one. I wouldn’t put it ahead if a Mustang because the Cameros interior is terrible. Absolutely terrible.

There are few cars more expensive than
cheap Mercedes S-classes ...

Good amounts of GT4s sitting on lots. I don't know if it's the long gearing, upped production numbers or people waiting for the GT4 RS but there are plenty out there if you search the major sites.

The Miata is nice looking and classic vs the others which are variations or Completely new models
As for performance, there must be a big drop off from the others to the Miata

The Boxter would be my first choice. The Miata, if my long legs would fit in it, would be fun. Everyone knows you never buy new the first year of any generation Corvette with the exception of the C7 (2014). The C8 still has a lot of growing pains and tweaks to iron out. No interest in the Camaro or the Cabriolet.

After seeing the results of a Miata getting hit by an F250, the you couldn't pay me to drive one.

I’d rather have this convertible El Camino

I’d look like Donky Kong from Mario Kart in most of those vehicles
So probably not

I’m personally partial to my Mercedes E-Class cab. I prefer a more luxurious cabriolet model I we somethingnlike a Miata or Camaro.
