Having a digit or appendage cut off by someone else while I'm fully awake and aware is literally my biggest fear, but I'd even do it myself for a million.
Any less than that and there's no way in hell you'd convince me.

I wouldn't trade a thumb for a million but any other finger sure, a pinkie if it is my choice. A million is a great springboard for whatever one's financial goals may be (how many years does it take to SAVE a million? 10? 20? 30?). You are literally trading 10-30 years of work for a fricking finger.
A missing finger is a great conversation starter. (I'd probably make up a story about saving some baby from a burning building or stopping a rapist, not that I traded it for some scratch)

I could do it myself if I had a guillotine or some shite. I don't think I could hold something down on my finger and hear the bone cut/grind. But a device of some sort, I could do.
And a million? This isn't legit. I mean, for someone who makes 50k a year, that's 20 years of salary. If you are ballin at 100 k a year, that's ten years salary. In the grand scheme of things, this decision is a no brainer.
