Would you become excessively fat if promised a $1,000,000 yearly salary?

The thread on the TV board about Katy Mixon’s weight gain got me thinking. Perhaps her obese weight has allowed herself to make far more money than if she’d stayed thin. So perhaps, it’s simply a business decision on her part to let herself go. So that brings up a more philosophical question:

Would you rather be poor, but in phenomenal attractive shape; or be a wealthy, but obese unattractive person?

For me, I’d rather be poor and feel good physically. Than be wealthy and feel ugly. Self esteem is worth more than money to me.

I'm already shorter than the average American, bald, and "hefty." So, you might as well show me the money!!!

We need numbers. Excessively fat could be anything from needing transport by crane to a BMI of 28-30

Sounds more like you’re looking for an excuse to eat that entire bag of Cheetos without feeling guilty to me.

In these two scenarios, fat. You can be kept alive by meds, you can't be kept unpoor.

Are we talking fifty pounds overweight or a candidate for “My 600 Pound Life”? No point in having the money if you can go anywheres to enjoy it and be dead by age 45.

No, cause I would source my own food. I wouldn't live in Los Angeles or some retarded shite, and I'd probably have my own gym/pool too, so..

Plus I'm vain anyways, the unsuspecting still think I'm in my 20s and I like keeping it that way.

I’m talking if you’re a man, and your normal weight is between 170-200, would you allow yourself to go up to 280-350 for a million a year. No way I’d do it.

Women I don’t think any would willingly go from 120 to 250+ for any amount of cash

Hell no. Becoming fat is a fear of mine. I’d much rather live paycheck to paycheck and not lose my breath every time I walk into another room.

Yeah I think the most popular stereotype connected to "excessively fat" people is your lower economic classes that may tend to consume more fast food, more processed foods overall, and perhaps less exercise.

If I made 1,000,000 per I'd have an in-house chef, within reason, tasked with preparing a much, much more healthy diet than that which I experience now. It's just not that easy to make them ends, then come home after a long day only to prepare a healthy meal from scratch.

75% of people are already overweight, while less than 1% make that much money. Seems like unnecessary research on your part.
