Would you be offended if your fiancee’s father asked you to sign a prenup?

She doesn’t ask you, he asks you directly. In front of the rest of the family at a bbq. Because he has a business and money that will one day be her business and money.

Inherited property isn’t community property so it would be pointless.

Trashy a bit yes, but don’t worry you have to be compensated to sign it. But he is kinda dumb because inheritance is not joint property.

No worries. But then you have to bust your arse and be more successful and wealthy than him so you can justify kicking him in the nuts on his deathbed.

If he had a legitimate reason to then no. Never dated an overly wealthy girl so I don't see this being an issue

I thought prenups were only for what you have acquired before you were married.

If this already happened to you, I hope to god you said you don't have a problem with it and made some humor out of it.
This was most likely a test and for your sake I hope you passed it.

Absolutely not, it's his money he can do with it as he wishes, but that is pretty bad form

It's none of his goddamned business

If I knew he had business interests and wanted his daughter to be part of that business, I'd offer to sign a prenup (as long as she did as well) before he ever had to ask.

I’m surprised mine didn’t

“Hey I know I’ll never have any right to the inheritance you leave your daughter, but since I’m a beta, I’ll sign a prenup if you want just to prove how much it’s not my inheritance.”
