Besides western St. Tammany, there isn't a place in Louisiana that isn't a shithole.

All that because you are afraid of a few black people?
Good point it would be easier to move the disgusting, violent dysfunctional people than the physical structures.

You are just asking to get a visit from every blow dealer in BR with this.

If we’re dreaming then ok move it to UNOs campus and build an Entire new campus over a 20 year period expanding much of the lakefront. The stadium could be an open end type to the lake, air conditioned !!!! Think long term. Recruiting would be a breeze. It’s an international city and it would have the newest and best buildings.

And still be located right beside some really crappy real estate areas.
And have to deal with the shitshows of NOLA City politics?
Pass
HARD Pass.

Just let the campus, and all their property secede from EBR and form their own parish.... much easier

Kind of a get in and get out situation
Good thing your kids will have all that land to keep themselves occupied on because you will be adding 3 hrs to your work day.

One thing to think about is that if you take LSU out of BR and move it to a rural area, you basically have something similar to Mississippi State. I happen to like MS State a lot, but I am not sure that is what people are looking for when they attend LSU....
There is a galaxy wide separation between Baton Rouge and Starkville

No, just create a new city like the good people of St. George are trying to do.

I would way rather live in BR than in Zachary, Denham, or down east on I-10.
Same thing for Mandaville/Covington area.

So let's ignore the historic campus that LSU would be abandoning... you want to move a college from an hour away from NOLA...to Pineville?!?! Great idea, dickhead

I love Baton Rouge. I grew up in the city. I do not like crime. It comes in all colors. My parents divorced and my dad lived in Sherwood Forest and my mom and stepdad lived on Amarillo Street in North Baton Rouge.
My parents are deceased now but I spent time with each parent growing up. I wish there were a way to give hope and opportunity to all residents of EBR. Smarter people than I haven’t come to a satisfying solution to crime and poverty because each individual must respect life and respect themselves. Maybe something will change during the next 50-75 years.
