LSU would have been so much better if it was put in Thibodaux instead. Better culture, cool main college square, smaller town etc etc

Grew up on Lanier/prescott... 2 home invasions... now live on Burbank less than a mile from Gardere... my neighbor has been robbed twice (with 3 kids under 10yo)... I had to call the cops on a meth head (neighbor) throwing her kids clothes in a flooded ditch in front of them and a guy walking down the road waving a gun around talking about killing his neighbors...

Sure, do you intentionally seek out the shittiest possible areas of town to live? You don't have a Baton Rouge issue; you have an "I shouldn't live anywhere with more than 20k people" issue. I'll continue enjoying living in a city. You enjoy satellite television, I guess?

Seems more like problems continue to grow around me... Lanier/Prescott was a gravel road where my grandparents settled... crawling out the bayou... its been a family residence ever since... decided to come to South BR and the gardere shite decided to overflow it's shitbanks and spread it's degeneracy all over burbank... sad really
As for the rest of it... come visit me at my weekend house on the diversion canal or at my house in perdido key (idk where I'll be at depending on the weekend)
Either way, it doesn't matter.. BR is turning into a shitstain on the state, so I'm moving across the river in June... best part... no culcha and tons of land to raise my kids the way my daddy was raised

I don't have a real opinion on that idea. One thing to think about is that if you take LSU out of BR and move it to a rural area, you basically have something similar to Mississippi State. I happen to like MS State a lot, but I am not sure that is what people are looking for when they attend LSU....
