Is there any psychological reason, such as PTSD after serving in a wartime setting, that men would "forgive", or be willing to acquit by reason of insanity,
another man for murdering anyone such as an innocent child?
Many women are rallying behind Lindsay for her postpartum issues, and most men don't subscribe to this.
I would tend to believe men would be substantially less forgiving for a man's psychological issues as women would be for another woman's psychological issues.
I'm a believer of all murder is insane and there is no "reason of insanity " defense.

No. They’d be more inclined to vote for the death penalty

Something is seriously wrong with modern women and the “minority” outrage business

frick no. Most of us would prefer a bullet in the back of the courthouse for killing your own fricking kids.

I’m thinking about the flashback scene in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood when Brad Pitt’s character, Cliff Booth, “accidentally” kills his wife with a spear gun.

That bitch had it coming. NG!

I don’t care what your circumstances are. I don’t care about your emotional state. I only care about: did you kill them, did you do it on purpose, and were you defending yourself from them.

Whether or not they did it on purpose simply could change the crime from murder to manslaughter, but they still need to go to prison for a long time.

I don’t care how crazy someone is. If they kill people for reasons not wholly justified (like self-defense), they should be removed from the general population.

If you want to be crazy and exist in public, you better not be the crazy that kills people.

Postpartum depression is apparently all the new rage in denying accountability

Just like the period used to be the excuse for being a raging psycho for a few days a month

Now it’s postpartum and we can kill anyone we want!

I wouldn't mind the insanity verdict if that also came with a minimum years of confinement, say 30 years. But that's not how it is, and you can get released from confinement really quickly in comparison to a prison sentence.

All murders are at least temporarily insane. Well, except for that group that has no regard for human life.

My question is why isn't this woman begging for death after murdering her three babies? Surely death would be preferable to living with the horrific reality of what you did.

Of course not.

If they're driven to kill by post-partem why not off themselves instead of the completely innocent?

No. In fact, both men and women treat female criminals more lightly than male criminals.

Like there's a post on here at least once a week about a woman teacher who's arrested for sex with a 12-15 year old male student. Everybody on the board will say she should be acquitted, even though nobody really doubts that she committed the crime.

If it's a good conclusion based on logic and reasoning, yes. Men would not simply choose it simply to help another man out or to make some kind of social justice statement

To be fair, they only say that if she is attractive.
