If a man kills a man he found in bed with his wife and claims insanity I'm going with it.

If I go out and drink and drive and run someone over, I'm going to prison. Just because I was too shite faced to know what I was doing isn't an excuse. Neither is this supposed mental insanity. She killed 3 children. Lock her up in a jail cell or psych ward, DGAF which.

Amen!! PPD (that she didn't have until she hired a lawyer) isn't an excuse to murder people. The end.

It's the same thing as women who use their periods to justify being an enormous a-hole. It's not an excuse, it's an admission of poor emotional regulation. We all have our demons, we all carry burdens, get the frick over yourself & do better.

If the bar is seriously LOWER than "don't kill your kids," people will start refusing to engage with new mothers. PPD emotions get taken out on fathers & friends as well. And most folks don't want to be around some loose cannon loony.

Anything but a conviction will be a pyhrric victory of the highest order.
