It happens that the USA state dept describes 4 tiers of danger to would be travelers in old Mexico.
No travel on highway 123 after dark from town a to town b.

How is this even a question? Do you know anything about the LCN mafia? About the drug cartels? Mafia is all about secrecy. They kill while sitting behind you. Cartels use RPGs.
