Mid to late 80s, Catina St in Lakeview was pretty terrible, even in comparison to the average shitty street in NOLA. I had a truck and could barely negotiate the road. Ridiculous!

whatever fricking road that is driving south off the interstate in Laffy

that would be the "Thruway". And yes, its deplorable. It gets better from the LAffy airport to Albertson's PKWY, but the stretch of Hwy 90 South from Broussard to Houma is an abortion as well.

As someone who grew up in St. Martinville, but also worked in New Orleans 2 years ago..... It's easily New Orleans

I've never been on a worse road than Magazine St. in front of the park and zoo

Hwy 117 between Provencal and Peason Ridge is a contender.

NELA bracket nominee. Swartz-Fairbanks Rd.

I just looked at it on Google maps, from 6/22. People in New Orleans would kill you to be able to drive on roads as nice as that.

Close second is Church Point Hwy south of Branch.

This road was built in 1962, rebuilt in late 80's, probably 1988. Practically untouched since then. The pavement has crumbled. People are driving on the shoulder in places. DOTD stays busy throwing asphalt in the bigger holes but it's a futile effort. It's due to be redone soon, and then it will probably be forgotten again.

NOLA has oil pan rippers within every 100 yards or so.

You’re talking about the Evangeline Thruway.

I—49 turns into Hwy 90 at I-10. In town that’s the thruway.

And it’s the Autobahn compared to NOLA.

Hwy 71 from Bunkie to Krotz Springs deserves an award. It may not be the worst but it's consistently bad for about 40 miles.

I-20 from Shreveport to the Texas state line. Both in road quality and congestion.
