re: Rewind: What happened with LF recruitment? - stewie
He came to LSU thereby solidifying himself as an LSU and a Louisiana legend.
He was one of the best running backs to ever put on that uniform. Remeber his sophomore year when he was running against 8 and 9 men in the box and still managed 168 yds a game...stud....

re: Who followed the recruitment of Badara Traore? - stewie
Most schools wanted him and missed on his evaluation.
Whoa there, no one ever said LSU missed on an evaluation. I think most believed he would take a year or two to adjust. Just because a guy hasn’t dominated two weeks of camp doesn’t mean he’s a bust....

re: NRA Says It’s in Deep Financial Trouble, May Be ‘Unable to Exist’ - stewie
What should have said what does a 2A organization look like?
The ACLU would be a better representation of a civil rights group. There are also a number of conservation groups that extend (by nature) to 2nd amendment advocates. Kino, feel free to email also. I’m off....

re: Do you like the smell of gun oil? - stewie
Yup, reminds me of the duck camp back in the day. Nothing like wiping down the gun after a December duck hunt and the smell of red beans in the air and oil on your hands (we used 30 wt motor oil back in the day)....

re: NRA Says It’s in Deep Financial Trouble, May Be ‘Unable to Exist’ - stewie
Clames, I’m sorry if you believe I was trying to pull a quick one with that quote of Scalia. That was not intentional...the point was to show that there are limits to the 2nd amendment and we don’t know those limits. Scalia cites examples and acknowledges that the limitations to the 2nd amendm...
Sure doesn't mean draconian regulations either.
No argument from me on that. But to act like there is no issue here is basically sticking your head in the sand and blind fully following whichever side you so chose....

re: NRA Says It’s in Deep Financial Trouble, May Be ‘Unable to Exist’ - stewie
Scalia’s own words in Heller: "The right secured by the 2nd Amendment is not unlimited” We are just now fleshing this issue out in the lower courts. To act like one knows the outcome 20 years from now will only illustrate their own ignorance. Edit Still, the NRA filed a load of...
This isn't a debate, you have nothing to work with.
Clames, this statement clearly illustrates the fact that you don’t have a grasp on the isssues with a citizen’s constitutional right to own/possess guns. There is a long history of close and narrow Supreme Court decisions exam...

re: OB farmers, is it time to harvest soy beans? - stewie
Tiger. I live close to you. Most likely those beans are planted on fallow cane rows. They plant early and harvest early so they can get out of the field in time for planting cane in those rows. It’s a defoliant they get sprayed with to speed the process up. You will probably see cane planted ...
