I read through your post again, and it really seems like something out of Schindler's List. This is something a corrupt Oscar Schindler would brag about. It all points to people being brutally mistreated and ignored for the sake of the rich. If not putting up with slavery is self righteousness, then so be it. Really read through what you posted, since it really seems like heavy sarcasm to me to make fun of a person who lives in and exploits a slave state. I can't believe anyone would post that unless they were totally deluded to what was going on.

I appreciate and agree with a lot of what you say but op would be teaching school and renting a $900 apartment. He's not going to be bidding on field hands in the town square. I think you've pretty well covered the slave comments.

The American School is legit. That's where you would want to be. You'd be teaching expats. I am almost positive they provide housing for teachers around Motor City or somewhere in that vicinity.

ASD is where you would want to be. I've got friends that work there and it's where my kids attend. Top notch school.
