Yeah that wasn’t a simple unbuckle. She put in some effort and knew what she was doing?
Panic attacks are not super brief. I'm not saying it was or wasn't a panic attack, or drugs or anything. Idgaf. But i will tell you, I had ONE panic attack in my life. 20+ years ago, and I fking remember it.
It lasted for like half an hour or more, and there was nothing but irrational fear. It doesn't go away fast.

Me: 160 ft isn't that high
Me after the video: holy shite 160 ft is up there.

she had to be on some kind of psychedelic
But I will say, unbuckling from 150 feet in the air would subside any panic attack someone was having.

The video was grainy, but i thought it looked higher than 160 ft. When I parasailed, I went up 500ft which is about 160 meters. Since this was Europe, I wonder if something got lost in translation.

Panic attacks or uncontrollable fear is no joke. Though to unbuckle yourself that high up is quite extreme.
she didn't look panicked at all. She looked like she practiced unharnessing. That was way too quick and easy for her.

I don’t want to speak ill of the dead but this seems like a “make a big news splash” (pun intended) then launch OF move. Lotta chicks doing it.
This would just be the most moronic physics-ignorant way to go about it.

I thought the same thing. The video looks like she’s a couple hundred feet above a 100 foot cliff in the background.

She looked pretty calm as if she was ready to die. A lot of social media influencers have been taking their life lately. This was probably suicide as well.

I was thinking the same thing. That looks really high in the video.

I think people survive falling 160 feet onto ground sometimes, somehow.
Because they are “lucky” and hit tree branches that are small enough to break before you do and along with other foliage iit breaks their fall before they slam into the ground. You have to use the term survive loosely because they are typically massively fricked up when they stop.
This would be like hitting a concrete wall facefirst at 70 mph

What a fricking retard. I don’t even feel bad. The only sad thing about this is that she’s cute and that always makes it a little worse.

I know a few high dive artists that did outdoor shows with a tower at 60 ft. Obviously, not 160 ft, but I learned a gew things from them, most importantly: your chin must be tucked firmly to your chest. If not, you will het knocked out like a heavyweight just have you a naslty uppercut.
Also, toes pointed straight down and hands flat against your hips on the side.

when I rode in the London Eye, if I could have figured out a way to get through the top of the car this easily could have been me as I was in a full panic mode.
I had a mini freak out on the last ferris wheel I was on and it was nowhere near as high as the London Eye. I got near the top and they stopped it to let people on/off and I was screaming my arse off when we got back down for the operator to stop it and let me off. I don't know why either. Just had this overwhelming feeling of impending doom and I wanted out of that shite immediately.

This.
I was 8 years old floating the Guadalupe with my family. There is a tall cliff near the end of the float where college kids were jumping off doing the "pencil".
After being provoked with the classic, "You ain't got a hair on your arse if you don't do a flip!!!" A kid jumped off and did a beautiful full layout flip. He misjudged the height and hit the water facing forward at about a 45 degree angle. Snapped his neck.
First person I ever saw die.
