That would be two dead fricking dogs if it were me.
frick those dogs. Like someone else said, with SO many other breeds to choose from, why pick the one that has the highest track record of coming unhinged, and is BRED to have physical traits to do the most damage?

There were three of them loose and running as a pack through the neighborhood park the other day where all the kiddies play . I just don’t get it.
Question- what kind of effect does pepper spray in the face have on these dogs ? Do they laugh it off ?

Work smart not hard.....sponge is a good idea as would be some antifreeze. Jail time is not an acceptable outcome for the justified.

Wait, what? I know there’s a one-bite rule (although I forget exactly how it’s applied), but I would think it’s pretty much mandatory that they would be taken/put down if they KILLED another dog

I don't know if that would work on a pit.
Ive seen one eat an entire chair, cushion and all.
I had a neighbor that would taunt another neighbor's german Shepard every single day.
One day the gate wasn't shut. Bit his leg and yanked the skin off.
Owner came out and hit his dog in the head with a bat.
Dog just yelped and ran inside.
It was put down.

I can't think of anything trashier than owning a pit bull. Well, maybe having sexual intercourse with your own sibling... but other than that, nothing.

my cousin had a pit get after him out in the woods where we hunt. he was carrying a big canvas bag of game cameras and was able to keep that between him and the dog. every time the dog jumped and bit the bag he would force it down and kick the shite out of it. he said it didnt even phase the dog. he ended up getting back to his fourwheeler and running the dog over with it. it ran off. He saw the owner with it in a truck a couple days later. he flagged the owner down and told him he was carrying a .357 just for that dog and explained what happned. Guess what the owner said? he's a good dog and he couldn't believe it would do that.

Of course they weren't fighting dogs. That angle in the original article was purely for shock value and the idiots here ate it up. Aside from the fact that fighting dogs were always known too be non aggressive toward humans, they damn sure wouldn't have been getting along with each other.

When I was a little boy a pit bull killed our old half blind poodle. My oldest brother witnessed it and it really messed him up for a while. MY grandfather blew the dogs brains out in the middle of the street with a 16 gauge. frick those awful beasts
