But I would think most sane people would agree that she shouldn’t have died just because of that.

I don’t think she deserved to die. There’s many incidents where people are killed and don’t “deserve” it.

The key is, in almost every one of those situations to which I’m referring, the victim finds a way to escalate and promote danger.

Many of these officers for ICE are not trained properly. Why on earth would I want to get in the way of them doing their job, knowing full well they carry loaded weapons? It’s all for some woman to virtue signal.

Sure, sure... even the "wife" admitted as much.

Two reasons we will not have a "George Floyd" situation in Minnesota...

It's winter and ain't nobody of color rioting for a white woman in twenty below weather.

call me a lib but maybe we shouldn’t have roaming gangs of masked men arresting people without body cams, issuing charges and shooting people in residential neighborhoods in broad daylight with a fraction of the training that real law enforcement have.

I get wanting to clean up the border but this isn’t the way. Should have recruited and trained these guys better.

We're basically giving up our own rights at that point because we saying this organization as long as it can be identified as Federal should have the right to force whenever they can "justify" it.

She tried to block the road, thus attempting to impede them in carrying out their lawful duty. When they approached her vehicle to question and possibly arrest her (for breaking the law by attempting to impede), she attempted to flee and in that flight possibly or nearly struck an officer. At the very least that's attempted manslaughter and the officer was well within his rights to fire on her in that moment as the vehicle was coming towards him.

It sucks that it happened, but this is the result of people thinking "protesting" means interfering and attacking officers.

In the video I saw, the guy was trying to open her door, she sped off and he fired three shots. He was at the side, not in front of her. I don't know what the law states, maybe it justifies deadly force in that situation, but he was not in danger of being run down, she couldn't have run him down if she tried. The road was clear in front of her and the SUV rolled a considerable distance before hitting another parked car.

That makes it worse, because there was literally nobody in front of her. The road was clear.

There was another office standing behind that one (from that angle it was hard to see him) and in front of the car. She grazed him with the bumper as she turned to flee, and he already had his weapon drawn.

There was another officer in front of the car. Past the one trying to open the door. Guess you didn't watch it too well.

Well her plates were Missouri and registered to her address in Missouri, so if she is a Minnesota resident that’s another reason to have pulled her over.

Regardless of whether or not it was a justifiable shooting, it's a terrible look for our country and makes the city on the hill look less shiny.
