Woman dies after being shot in the face on Bourbon Street

Police say shortly after midnight Thursday, officers got a call of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the face.
She was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
Officers detained a man at the scene for questioning, but no arrests have been made.

Actually New Orleans had a chance to clean up it's act after Katrina washed away the majority of it's ghetto trashy people but instead the ignorant leadership decided to embrace chutcha and double down on stupid.

I expected to see something like this closer to the 100 or 200 blocks -- not the 900 block, which is much safer (relatively speaking)

Yep many people thought that NOLA would take advantage of the god given purge but that didn’t happen with the chocolate city mayor. NOLA was handed a golden opportunity but pissed it away as usual.
