Despite all the "shithole" comments, I was about to post this anyway. Simply from the tenor of the comments, and not reading the article, it sounded VERY personal, like something that could have happened in the country in somone's kitchen, or the suburbs or wherever. It was personal and was going to happen wherever the two or three of them found themselves together.

Apparently. The story the shooter gave was he went to threaten the new boyfriend, she stepped between them and got shot in the face by accident. The victim was a waitress at Clover Grill.
